About Me

I am Mark Kilby, a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist based in Lincoln.

I have worked in mental health and psychological therapies for over 35 years and have been providing specialist Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in Lincolnshire since 2003.

My approach is collaborative and practical. Rather than simply applying a standard treatment programme, I aim to understand you as an individual — what has brought you to therapy, what may be maintaining the difficulties you are experiencing, and what you would like to change.

From this understanding, we can develop an evidence-based treatment plan tailored to your particular needs and circumstances.

Professional Background

I am accredited by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and have extensive experience working with a wide range of psychological difficulties.

My clinical experience has included work within NHS mental health services as well as independent practice. Throughout my career I have maintained a particular interest in evidence-based psychological therapy and in adapting treatment to the individual rather than the diagnosis alone.
